Some Fanta Trivia
Fanta originated in Germany during WW2. Coca-Cola was immensely popular in Germany before the war. Once the US and Germany started slugging it out, the secret syrup needed to make Coca-Cola couldn't be shipped from America to Germany anymore.
The Coca Cola franchise in Germany was owned by a man named Max Keith. Max couldn't make coke without the key ingredient, the secret syrup. So in order to keep his company going, he invented a whole new type of drink. He used ingredients he could find locally. The mash of apples, and whey, which comes from breweries and cheese making.
He called his new product Fanta. That name was derived from the German word for "imagination." In English it would be the equivalent of FANTAsy
